Lynda Forsha, principal of Arts Advisory Services, is an independent curator who works with private, corporate and non-profit clients, advising them on a variety of contemporary art projects.

From 1979-1993 Forsha served as curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and from 1988-1993 was head of the museum’s curatorial department. During her tenure at MCASD, she originated over 30 major art exhibitions and commissioned numerous temporary and permanent works of art.

In 1993, she was appointed director of inSITE, a collaborative project of 38 nonprofit institutions that commissioned 78 temporary installations and site-specific works throughout the San Diego/Tijuana region.

From 2002 through 2005, she served as the public art program director for the city of San Diego’s public art program. During her tenure, she planned, coordinated, and administered all phases of various public art programs and projects

In 2008-2009, Forsha served as a director of the Gagosian Gallery and helped launch their new space in La Jolla, California.

Currently, Forsha serves as Executive Director for Murals of La Jolla, a project conceived in 2010 to enhance the community's civic character by commissioning public art projects on private property. To date, 46 new works by artists Amy Adler, Terry Allen, Eleanor Antin, John Baldessari, Math Bass, Mel Bochner, Mark Bradford, Kelsey Brookes, Sandra Cinto, Rosson Crow, Roman de Salvo, June Edmonds, Kota Ezawa, Gajin Fujita, Anya Gallaccio, Chitra Ganesh, Robert Ginder, Raul Guerrero, Ann Hamilton, Steven Hull, Robert Irwin/Philipp Scholz Rittermann, Isaac Julien, Nina Katchadourian, Alex Katz, Victoria Fu/Byron Kim, Jean Lowe, Kim MacConnel, Heather Gwen Martin, Michael Mercil, Beatriz Milhazes, Ryan McGinness, Roy McMakin, Richard Allen Morris, Catherine Opie, Julian Opie, Marcos Ramirez ERRE, Gabriella Sanchez, Lorenzo Hurtado Segovia, Rex Southwick, Fred Tomaselli, Monique van Genderen, William Wegman and Gail Werner have been commissioned and installed throughout La Jolla.
